It is starting

No doubt if you did like we did dad backed the car to the barrel when going places. It was either my brothers or my job to fill the gas tank and lock the barrel. Yes we knew how to fuel long time before driving age. Was that a hemi DeSoto?
No, a 4 door Firesweep with a 361. But, it would bark the tires going into second and was over 80 before it found third. I surprised a lot of people with that beast.

I seen all the nasty weather across the country, we are having very mild weather for now!

There it goes all the schools are closed in the area. Hell in my day we walked through 2' of snow up hill with the wind in our face on ice in bare feet! Whats wrong with kids today?

Same thing for us, except we had to walk up hill both ways! I hate this crap! Not even winter yet and we're getting hammered already!:wtf:

Driving to Indianapolis Saturday, but we might get 1-3" tonight, freakin' perfect, nothing like a salt bath for an old vehicle. I hope they are off by two days. :praying:

Salt in southern states. But I don't remember salt in Minnesota, South or North Dakota. A little sand but salt doesn't work well on the north pole. Don't even remember snow removal for such minor amounts. Down here they get all frantic over a snow flake.

Oh, we use salt, and the brine mixture. Car and trucks don't last long if not taken care of. And even then...

Car wash with a good under carriage wash is esential
The car does run, I could take it off the trailer and run it through, then load it back up to bring to storage... Still 20+ miles away for the nearest one. Tape measure and a quick check on my way to get the rig will tell me what I need to know. Don't want salt all over this car.

Before it goes on the traile get a big ass piece of plastic to drive it on then cover it and tape it. You can get a roll that is huge at HD.
That doesn't work well at 60+ mph. Tried that in February and that lasted all of 24 miles. A pressure washer will clean it, and I can reach the bottom when it's on the trailer, which I'll need to, to GRT all the possible spray off of it.

All depends on temperature. We could get sand, salt or beet juice. It would be nice if they just plowed and let it go. Seldom stays long anyway. We had 3 inches Monday and all gone by Thursday.
