So far both Barracudas are staying, we had had offers on the 67 but I hope those offers fall thru! Are they staying?
Before it goes on the traile get a big ass piece of plastic to drive it on then cover it and tape it. You can get a roll that is huge at HD.
Got dry roads most of the way, other than a stretch in Illinois, salt falling out of the plow trucks on the way down, fresh snow on the way back. Late night-no traffic helped but got some slime on it. So I stopped at a truck stop and had the boys in the truck wash blast it top and bottom.Could always shrink wrap it like they do boats for shipment. Have no idea were you could get the done tho
I towed a '68 Dart four door according to the paperwork.Did that fit under U-hauls 5200 lb. limit or they just did not know?
I'll use them again if I need to,very convenient. I do wish the uhaul in my town had pickups, I had to go 50 miles out of my way to pick up the rig. But they learn the trucks and they are for that location only, or so they tell me.If it works and no trailer damage who will ever know. I have not used a U-haul trailer in years. Back when one of the boys worked there when we needed one him would just bring it home and take it back when done.
Ramps needed at home if I can get backed up to the dock. I have been looking at roll off tilts like used on tow trucks. No ramps required.Around here easy to borrow a flatbed, usually no ramps though.
Headed to Perkins for turkey dinner. Kids are all grown and do their own thing.Happy Turkey Day all!
