Dads ol dodge

I have always liked that body style:)
Haven't died or disappeared just busy still building the garage and getting ready to add on already. Hoping to get back on the Dodge Ram this Summer.... Dad's Chevy truck is literally falling apart so it needs done!

Made another Mopar purchase lately though:happy:. My daughter (10 yrs old) loves classic muscle so when I came across this I bought it, she's pumped to build it with me.View attachment 8400

What can I say, she's got taste!

Man it's been a long time!!! This project will hopefully get wings again soon, next time I'm not stopping until it's done.

So why has it stalled so long?? As you know I started building my own garage but what I didn't expect was for my dad to make the garage I was working out of almost unusable. It's bad, truck is blocked in with projects and junk everywhere, he's a pig in a garage lol and I can't function in an environment like that. This means I have to finish my 24X24 addition and get heat in my garage so I can move the truck in. I'll be back on it this summer.

Good to hear it's back in the line up...LOL

Yeah, I have my dad living with me I completely understand "issues"

good luck

Stopped in to look around, seams the site is gaining traction picking up members!

Still waiting to get back on it, didn't realize there were no updates on the garage so here's a few. We decided to install a boiler to heat the garage and house so I've been spending some time while our funds recover building a bench for the garage, doors and drawers to come. The addition was put under roof before winter but that's it, hoping to side it and pour the floor at some point. Been very busy!

Good looking shop, love the outdoor boiler. The only problem is time spent cutting wood takes away from spending time on the project vehicles

I have a whole knuckle boom load dropped off in the field then spend an afternoon or 2 sawing it up then split it all in a weekend so I don't waste much time on it. I even bought a bigger saw this year to speed it up, 562 XP with a 24" bar... love it!

Finally realized I won't be getting the other part of the garage done anytime soon but I do have heat so why not start hauling parts over. First delivery was the doors and they're both done:). Had to replace a piece of the inner lip before installing the patches but it went pretty smoothly.

Wish I would have done the first one the same, first one I only replaced about 3" and warped it pretty good:banghead:. If the hammer and dolly doesn't take it out I'll just buy another and redo it the same.

I like the progress on the truck....and it seems I missed seeing the pic of the shop addition with the new project for your daughter tucked away on FBBO.
Nice work. :)

Here you go, same as it was a year ago lol. Hopefully we can afford to finish it up this Spring but with radiant floor heat $$$. I'm just happy to have a garage with 24/7 heat and enough done on the addition to have a roof over my daughters car for now.

Thank you for the update, your supervisor in the first door pic is crashed out in the chair in the background.
He's either passed out or wanting to play tag which is quite hilarious on a smooth concrete floor.:D Awesome dog!

I used to deliver truck parts. One garage I went to, the guy had a German Shepard. Scared the crap outta me the first time I went there and the dog came running at me. He turned out to be a big baby. They had a car tire for a throw toy........one time a trucker pulled his truck into the shop for work, and parked on the dogs tire.....the dog went over and pulled the tire out from under the truck tire.....

He really wanted that tire!

Finally drug the truck over to my new garage and knocked out another major repair (not completely welded yet).
