Stop on in for a cup of coffee!

McD's has $1 single shot espresso, but you have to ask, one of those secret menu items.
Don't talk to me about McD's and their coffee. I went there a few months ago and ordered a Flat White....I don't like their boiled up 'stewed for hours' poor excuse for coffee....I also asked for an extra Shot. I didn't realise it would turn out like this....

I had to make the McMuffin look bigger than it really was....

I don't know what that is, I've just heard of a Long Black, but that's from the other island near you.

I'd never get their regular coffee, they have to make that espresso fresh when I order it. :woot:

I just realized I have a double shot of espresso (from a different source) in my truck! Ten to midnight, perfect time for some caffeine.

So I got my move to the new place done, a couple of things to repair at the other house and a few little things left. Now I have to unpack a whole house. I thank the Lord for my family and friends. Many hands make light work.

I will post some pic's and update you guy's soon

I've never been fortunate enough to have help, but then again, I didn't have much stuff when I did move, but not anymore.

Minor repairs about finished at my rental and should be ready to turn back over.
Now time to finish unpacking and start small projects. If the weather is nice tomorrow I will get some pics

So I just made a fresh pot. My kid finished all of the other one, but had it full of water and loaded with coffee/filter.
I am planning my day now. Usually my Sunday starts at with church, 2 services when i am serving in my ministry or 1 when I am not. Of course a few cups of joe are involved. It will be a couple of weeks before the state will let the public gather in groups of 10 or more.
It rained last night and the sun is trying to come out so I will get some pic's of the outside of the house.

I've held off of the course ground for a few days, let the body settle down a bit! But it's only $1 tomorrow, so I'll be filling up before I go dismantle some more of the Monaco. Really sucks having to take stuff of correctly when you want to save parts! Almost done with the saving part, so the sawzall will get it's turn pretty soon. Gotta figure out how to store all this stuff, I still need shelving. :woot: I'm sure I'll figure it out.

I can already taste the espresso...

So here are some pic's of the outside of the house

And last, but not least.... My shed, it's a mess right now.

When I get more done on the house and shed I will get some interior pic's

Small house projects have kept me up later than normal, so I have been pounding more coffee than usual. I did crown molding in the living room, it took a few nights but it's done. Now I am trimming out the windows and doorways. We didn't like what was up and it was easier to paint without it up anyway.

Here's the crown molding

I have to touch up the paint on the seams and nail holes

I got the kitchen doorway trimmed out, now it needs touch up also.

The kitchen needs it's crown molding put back after it gets painted

A friend of mine once told me what his wood shop teacher used to tell them and it rings true,
cut and carve, do your best, paint and caulk to hide the rest.

Started the morning with a cup and then mowed the lawn while drinking my second cup. Love the cup holder on the mower.
We love the look of these pine trees, but they are a nightmare to mow around.

Do you use a weed-whacker to clean up around the trees? I do for ours, and it makes for a tidier & easier job.
Mowed my lawns last week just in time for the bin collection. Living in town makes for less grass to get rid of. I used to have a pile for compost...but in summer it gets way too big and unusable.

1. I don't know how you keep.a drink in the cup holder, must have a nicer mower than mine (not hard to do)
2. I learned while at boarding school on grounds crew, to use that weed whip for those trees and anywhere the big rider would have trouble, so we usually made a circle two or three feet from the tree, depending on the situation. I still try to follow this rule, but the trees I have are fee and far between, and tell enough to drive under. :joyful:

I use my push mower to make a 2-3 ft circle around each tree and in between them if it looks like it's to tight for the rider

I got a new yard light on last week, here it is lighting up my buddy's Case 580.

My weekend was coffee fueled, mowed the church Saturday morning then my lawn Saturday afternoon and more trim work inside.

I had a quad espresso this morning while getting the exhaust fixed on the Monaco 500.

Realized I had over half of it just sitting around talking to the owner of the shop. Good thing it was getting cold, I started feeling a little jumpy! Went and got some gas, and took the car for a drive, it was great to have an old car back on the road.
