I have opened up high mileage Nippondenso starters and other than replacing the plunger and contacts they are good. Check the brushes and bearings, slam it back together.

2 Cups this morning and a nice cup of tea tonight, my sinuses are acting up with the weather change, throat is scratchy, drainage, the tea helps for some reason.

light snow on the ground this morning. Heading out to the farm again to get the barn door hung to keep out the weather. I wanted to drag the parts cuda out and stuff it in the barn for the winter but I am not prepared yet. At least I might be able to get the truck out to the field I wanted to play in. If the seed corn has been harvested I can get down the hill and check the fence. Time to fill the Thermos.

Guess I need to buy a ball for the tow receiver if I want to tow the car out to the farm tomorrow. Sure wish I would have kept the one I had. At the last minute it tossed it into the back or the old truck I was selling. Damn, that'll learn me...

80 degrees here (11am) and broke a record yesterday or the day before of 85. Supposed to be 50 for a low in the morning. Lows lately have been in the 70's. The weather heads are talking about mid 40's but that will be a bit further to the north about 20 miles or so....and mid 60's for a high. That'll be nice.

I will drink mine black sometimes, but I usually have a flavored creamer and sugar. Too much black coffee tends to make my stomach flip flop.
