Need Advice on How to Lower My D100

Vans l c a are easily avaliable there tons of them in junkyards.... and you can source news one on flee bay.

For lowering your '77 D100, you've got a few options. The simplest way is using 3" shorter front springs and flipping the rear leaf springs. However, more effective methods include using lower control arms from a B van or dropped Dakota spindles for the front, and longer shackles and spring under the axle for the rear.

Adjusting the front spring hanger/mount upwards on the frame can also help lower the front. For the rear, an axle flip is a common approach. If you're considering Dakota spindles, you might want to look into DJM Dakota control arms.

Remember, each method has its pros and cons. The van lower control arm swap is a popular choice but requires specific parts like the big bolt/matching bushing. You might find most of the parts you need at a local swap meet or on eBay.

Before starting, ensure you have all the necessary components and understand the full scope of the project. If unsure, consult with a professional or someone experienced in lowering these trucks. Good luck with your project!
