Saw this the other day and it sent me back in time.

Old guy and his wife, he didn't even help.her out of the truck.

Went to pick up a transmission out of a truck I sold and when I was heading back to the highway I passed a couple newer Dodge trucks and swung around to check on prices, and I can say I won't be buying anything near new for a looooonnnnggg time. But then I saw something more along my lines, even if they were Chevy's. But there was enough odd stuff to look at too. Here's what I saw:

Old International wrecker

I didn't have any time left but there's a bunch of 80's Chevy's and other stuffin that town. The guy who had my transmission had an old Cab Over grain truck on the farm, should have taken a pic of it.

And then there were trains. Not trucks but cool and they were right there.

OK, so that was a tractor and there were 2 more small ones like it also. The train is what caught my attention, otherwise I would have just left town. They also had a Frankenstein that was about 12-15 feet tall, should've taken a pic too.

The Locomotive is Minneapolis & St. Louis 471, Baldwin 2-8-0 built in 1910. Apparently owned by a construction company in town (that would explain the variety of old, unique stuff). Thanks to railfans loving to know where every engine goes to rest. I don't know if any further restoration is planned, it was noted a cosmetic resto was planned and a pic showed it off its drive wheels fresh off the transport. Wood framed windows were still present, albeit shoddy. I wanted to climb all over the thing! I would have been 8 years old again and pretending to be an engineer!

Thats a nice ole 2-8- 0 too.... Close to my home town still RUNS a 2-8-0 just a touch bigger then that one called Mountain Thunder fior the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad #734. I've spent time in the train as well as on the ground with a camera!

That old 13 letter shit spreader, looks like a fine example of International fame..... some interesting ROPE on the thing tho!

I gotta ask, what's up with all the Dodge/Mopar stuff on here. Isn't this site for Trucks only, not 'Mostly Dodge'?

The most active members are Mopar freaks. We like all kinds of trucks. @cindybrat7 is a die hard Chevy gal and she checks in daily. I like all the builds, no matter the make, and I wish we had more members with other makes.

Most of us on here came from other For site's like ForCbodiesonly.com or ForAbodiesonly.com. That's the reason for all the Mopar. But like Locu said we like all projects.

Saw this today,

Saw this another block down and back across the street. Pardon the pic, I took it through the windshield.

Yepper most of us came from other "Chrysler related" car sites, I'm from ForABodiesOnly & ForBBodiesOnly..... The same guy, owns ALL of them, good guy Joey is, and great sires, even tho each version has its own aura of individuals on them as members....

PLUS the older Dodges are really hard to beat for brute strength..... I'd take my '67 W200 against even the heaviest 3500 made today gas or diesel power'd....
