The car isn't an A/C car, I don't have air in my Polara that is a factory air car (compressor and condenser gone way before I got the car), and the aftermarket compressor has a date code of 1976 on it. If the hoses were still there and the compressor attached, maybe, but I have no intentions of wasting money on this unit. Windows work just fine for keeping me cool.

You could get A/C from the factory, then the dash had round vents on each end, and a set of two rectangular vents in the middle lower dash, which I think looks better than the non A/C dash, which just looks simpler. Not a big deal, but I'd have the vents in all my dashes if I could.
 
My Grandfather bought a '75 Power Wagon new and it had the under dash AC
 
A little cooler the next 3 days then hot again, hopefully Bob can finish painting our sons house, also my sister is bringing her car by today so Bob can work on it.

Rain, just enough to piss a person off. Went to sleep at 8 this morning, very uncommon for me. So I got up at 2, and hope to work on some wiring.

We got sprinkles about 1:30 would have missed them if not out side. Other wise another hot humid but cloudy day. Would have been miserable if it were not for the clouds.

This is were our hobby has gotten ridicules. Dealer items that once at cost 3 or 4 bucks. But its hard to fault the seller if someones willing to buy.

What cost $3-4 I'm 1988 costs what today? Plus that 30 year old date code.


I think it's stupid too, not our guy HOPS, but the insane market by people wanting that NOS part.
 
We finally got rain, little shower Fri, on and off Sat and most of the day today. We needed it, so dry here, the grass was brown, but I didn't have to mow it.:)
