Haven't checked. I'll do that in the morning. I know I have power at all four terminals of my ballast resistor when the ignition is on.Do you have power through the bulkhead, amp guage and ignition switch?

You should then have power to the ignition switch-S1. S2 to bulkhead and relay start circuit check?Haven't checked. I'll do that in the morning. I know I have power at all four terminals of my ballast resistor when the ignition is on.
If you mean the lugs on the relay I tried jumping them ad got not spark. Forgot to grab my remote at the stepsons.S2 to bulkhead and relay start circuit check?
Got the FSM in front of me, S2 power at relay when key turned to start. You should then have power to the ignition switch-S1. S2 to bulkhead and relay start circuit check?
If this heat gets that far try not to melt on the pavement. Finally low 90's and low humidity! Perfect for today have a friend in from Cali and a good day for us to go to Gettysburg battlefield before Carlisle later this week.
Never worked around a MDS system other than the distributor. Will have to google it.Same results inside the car. I have an MSD 6A if that makes a difference.
Just touched both terminals at the starter and it turned, so it's good. Not getting power to it. Still no power at the relay where S5 attaches when attempting to jump it manually. Chasing continues.
Yep, yesterday in the car at the bulkhead with a light, I got bored with taking the videos. Tried another ignition switch, and another relay, just to check, and had the same results. Gonna see if I have a spare mini starter and try that. I'll double check the wires going to the starter, but I think they are good, have heat shielding on them. All the wires involved look good, unless I missed something somewhere. I'll double check everything in the next couple of days, going to fire the 500 tomorrow, hopefully!Have you tested with a light to see if it gets to the starter relay? Will it start with the ignition on and jumping the starter relay?
Just elimination. On reason to fix what isn't broke.
Does the starter relay even click? Neutral safety switch provides the ground for the relay.Yep, yesterday in the car at the bulkhead with a light, I got bored with taking the videos. That's the click you hear in the vidoes I posted.Does the starter relay even click? Neutral safety switch provides the ground for the relay.
They looked and felt good, I'll go over them all again.Load check the wires might have one hanging on by a strand and it will ohm out good, been through that before!
