2wheeldrive ramcharger, only 7795 miles on it. has had a 727/904 transmission swap. brand new tires with less than 200 miles on em. runs great, almost no rust.

If it's really only got 7795 miles why the trans change and why the downgrade?

the truck sat for 20+ years in storage. the original tranny was shot. notnto sure the backstory. a guy brought it to me to work on and ended up giving it to me for the cost of the labor. itsbm what he wanted in it. I would like to change it back but i don't have the time and as rare as these are I'd rather sell it to someone that could appreciate it

Let's see some photo's and a price, please.
I posted a couple. I can post some more in the AM. the motor runs, starts on the first try every time. interior back and ceiling is in rough condition. I do have the door panels. no rust under the truck. will post Pic of it tomorrow

You mean 77,000 miles not 7700 right? If you want to sell it fast, $2500, otherwise it's worth more in parts than whole. Not a big following for Ramchargers, especially 2WDs. It's a shame. If it were a Blazer or Bronco, it would probably bring at least 4 times that.

Probably 107700 miles. The guy hasn't been around in over a month.
Where is "sac city"claims the old trans was shot. I don't get that on a "7700 mile original". If he works on cars enough to know a trans is shot, knows how to change one and works on cars enough to get the customer to leave the vehicle for the cost of repairs there's a lot I haven't seen told about it that should be

I agree with you. I don't think they ever even put a 904 transmission in a truck, maybe, unless it was a slant 6, & even then I don't think they ever put a slant six in a Ramcharger.
