Probably 107700 miles. The guy hasn't been around in over a month.
Where is "sac city"claims the old trans was shot. I don't get that on a "7700 mile original". If he works on cars enough to know a trans is shot, knows how to change one and works on cars enough to get the customer to leave the vehicle for the cost of repairs there's a lot I haven't seen told about it that should be

Hey sorry, life's been alittle busy. All answer what I know. When the guy came to me and asked me yo work on the truck, jt had lost all forward gears and touchy reverse. He had dumped engine oil and powersteering fluid, anything liquid down rhe tube. I told him I would rebuild it, however he's older and stuck in his ways wanted to put a different transmisson in. Cheaper is his thought. Anyway, the "new" tranny was 4 inches longer and required a custom drive shaft cross member and alot of time. He told me to tow it to my place( I was doing all this on a gravel driveway) and work on it at home. He just got fed up with everything and gave it to me.
