Has anyone had this problem?
Mine started staling when I go from drive to reverse. It’s happening daily. Any help or advice on this is welcome. Thanks in advance.

My 12 with a 4.7 and 150k does the opposite.
I back outta the driveway in the morning and when I go to go forward it'll do that.
Not every day, and only the first time I get in it for the day. It's been a couple of weeks since the last time but when it's in its mood it does it a few days in a row. Then might not do it for a month

If it were old school I would be looking for a vacuum leak. This new stuff its a process of elimination. Everything is controlled electronically somehow.

All the time or just when you first start it and it's cold?

It comes and goes. Won’t do it for a day or two and then two to three times a day. It kinda stumble’s right when it’s going to shut off. Very weird.

That’s what I’m thinking. If I pull the transmission for a torque converter I might as well have the transmission rebuilt. Crap.

Update
Found the problem.
Turned out to be a module in the transmission pan. The module was defected and it was causing the torque converter to lock up and stall the engine. Hope this helps someone else that experience this problem.

Was this module something that had to come from the stealer? What's it called
Where's it mounted within? How much else had to come apart to get at it
