2013 Ram stalling from drive to reverse

I had a friend that is a transmission expert do the work. I can get a part # and where he ordered it from if you need me to. It’s in the transmission pan like where the valve body is located. It’s pretty big, you can’t miss it. It’s like 7”x7”. There is 2 filters also. Not sure why but one of my filters was split.

yup I replaced those filters shortly after I got my truck, probably should again anyway. that was 50k miles ago/
yeah do try and get brand and a PN. Yours is a 65RFE right?

I’ll check tomorrow on PN and about if it’s a 65RFE. It’s weird, inside the pan was spotless. No metal shavings at all.

I have my own 2 post lift and have overhauled older transmissions but have never messed with one this new beyond fluid and filter, leaky gasket or tail seal etc. so I'm sure I can handle this with a little guidance on these particular transmissions
