i never said its like a 727 mount , i was just comparing the mounting placement at the trans , 727 and 904 is the same location between those two , the 500 and 518 will be the same as each other in location as well . and i looked at the mount usct offers to put a 518 were a 727 come from , there different as night and day , there are in different locations as well .

From what research I have done so far the 500 and 518 use the same mount. I have a Dakota 500 mount to play with.

Thank you! This is actually milled oak with 5 coats of satin clear. The hardware is all stainless steel.

As mentioned in the video, the guy doing the work has decided to use a generic cross member to mount the trans for my application.
