Belated welcome from NJ. I love both of your rides. It appears you have a pension for green! What accounts for such low miles on the Newport? If I were old enough to retire; and I am; and it was mine, I'd Put big ass tires on it with mag wheels and maybe tub it some. I'm sure it must have a big block in it. By the way, I recently bought parts from one of your neighbors. He has a Mopar yard! Damn it's like the north pole up there! When I spoke with him on the phone, nice guy; he said it was 35 below zero! I think his name was Byron Fettig. Stay Warm!

Looks like the Chrysler is about due its first dealers warranty oil change and check up.
In 74 when working at the Chrysler dealership a middle aged lady would bring her 71 Newport in with 440 other wise identical to your 70. She could not figure out way the universal joints just never last. None of us would tell her her daughter was doing pretty well drag racing it.
For big cars they would hold their own.

That is a cool story. I'd drive it, I get the low mileage deal, but I don't fault you for using it. I think my 500 only has 35,xxx on it, something like that, that's low for me, but I plan on putting on the miles, that's why I got it. But yeah, if the Newport were mine,I'd probably feel a little guilty each time I took it out.
Is the truck teepee yours, or just some artwork nearby?
