this has been a very long term, slow project

1978 w200 360/4spd 4x4. These are beginning pics, I'm still looking for my other pics of the in progress stuff. The 360 is now a 408 stroker, copied a build from hotrod years ago, ported iron heads, 437 hp on the local engine dyno.

Flat bed is now gone, sourced a rust free 8 ft bed at the Nats a few years back. Two new AMD fenders for the front.

from what i recall off the top of my head

cam was an edelbrock grind, the combo called for a comp cam but couldnt get it at the time.
intake is an RPM
750 holley
heads were ported by the local shop and had larger valves as well as an angle job done, i dont recall the right specs.
I know compression ratio using the TRW pistons and being decked was right at 9:1. very low compression but monster torque

I bet it runs good with the stroker:)
Yeah, its quite strong but the gearing is holding it back. 4.56 gears, thing is a torque monster but top speed of about 55-60 mph. Eats fuel like crazy

i got bored during my lunch break. Came up with this idea for my 78 using a piece of wood directly from the old barn we re-sided last year. I cant decide if i want to use the factory gauges or aftermarket
