Power brake booster compatability

Hey guys. Got my everything from the master cylinder to rear wheel cylinders replaced on the truck. Had to swap out the axle seals in it as well. Went to bleed the brakes and the pedal won't come off the floor. Felt like 50 pound weights when I reached down to pull the pedal back up. Removed the master cylinder and shot pb blaster on the rod and inside the booster through the vacuum port. It's now easier to push down but still not returning very well. I can't find a booster anywhere for 74 so are there any other options like jumping up to an 80s or 90s booster?

He currently has the booster from my son's 72 Plymouth wagon (done) I have to pick up the next time I can break away from work a couple of hours early.
Pretty quick service. 2 blocks south of Midway airport (Chicago) they also do steering boxes.
They have mine from my 83 D250 as well. Been there for years.
 
Believe me they do brake boosters. I have one there now. Will be picking up tomorrow

Thanks for the feedback yall. I should have a booster and master cylinder coming but it's for an 84 or 85 ram. It looks like it might work but we will see. I'll post an update and if it doesn't work I'll shoot them a message. Thanks again for the advice, it's much appreciated.

I was just there 2 hours ago, picked up my son's booster, he had a few on the bench behind the counter. I got some new flyers from them as well.
He charged me $335. For my son's booster.
On the 80s truck booster everyone says to go to the 3/4 ton version, Smaller diameter but sticks out further because it's a tandem booster vs a single diaphragm booster as on the 1/2 ton.
Guys that have big block swapped 80s trucks say that you have to go to the 3/4 ton booster on any 80s truck that has a big block swapped in for valve cover clearance.
The diesel ones still have a 4 bolt pattern but even with the aluminum master and it's 2 bolt pattern shouldn't be a problem retrofitting to a 70s truck. And I can say I've had to replace those aluminum masters way less frequently than I used to have to replace the cast iron ones.

There was a split off a while back.
