-WOW..... Thats awesome no less, but I'd go through that thing rather quickly and get things all up to snuff.... Specially if ya wanna keep it as-is and running, unless you plan to take it out put it down for a rebuild and keep the car original. -Those were the "Grocery geter" engines, they wouldn't win a race, but I can tell ya, you would get there no matter what!

Did you say you were going to use a LA block? They don't have the oil drain holes in the block that the poly has. But it can be done. I read an article where guy did that and made front and rear external drains on the heads and ran hoses down to oil pan, so oil didn't pool at the heads. FYI
