I just bought my newest Mopar. The body work is done and it is time to make it mine.

Wow, that's a beauty! Whoever did the work did a great job! Thanks for posting the pictures. Welcome aboard from NJ.:)

Wow, both are beauties. I can't decide which I like better! And Basketcase, your 69 is also spectacular!:)

She now has OEM silver rims and a nice set of dog dish hubcaps to bring her back to original. I like it.

Although I still like the truck a whole lot, since my first vehicle, I never liked hubcaps or wheel covers or stock rims. Many refer to them as "poverty caps". To each his own, but in this case from one perspective,(mine), it is original style. However, I always felt a custom wheel and tire combo helps make a vehicle unique. Visual is one thing, but I also look toward function as well as form supporting my viewpoint. In this case, without laying on the ground, it can be difficult to check for things like dragging brakes. In addition, having mag type wheels leaves the view of your drums / calipers open for viewing and because of that, I keep them in better condition by wire brushing & painting! One more thought; if the vehicle is stolen it stands out more with distinctive wheels & tires which (might) help to deter a thief to a small degree. Maybe not! :)
