I just need to get one more on the road, then I can give you a hard time about not doing much. But then who would be my role model?

Thanks, but I need to correct you.....(That was a beautiful truck) It's under a snowbank for the winter and hasn't moved for the last two years.

I was up in Perham, Minn when we got caught in a snow storm. 14 inches fell. But, we get enough snow here so, we dealt with it

I see a lot of familiar cars/trucks, avatars & even names here now

I've been working out of a small 20' x 20' 2 car garage
since I moved my dad off the mountain to a lower elevation 2005
(snow was becoming a real issue, especially to his health)
& myself too
Then I finally, sold my house in Rancho Murieta CC, was there for 10 years
(eastern rural Sac. Valley 2007) sold in the middle of the housing crisis...
&
I seriously downsized twice now too !!!
just before that move;
From a huge place in Turtle Creek/Concord
(east bay Area 1997, where I grew up, since 1959)
where I had a HUGE warehouse 64k sqft & shop space,
only a few miles from my house
& a HUGE 2 story house with 5 bdrms, pool, bb court, spa
& a 5 car garage etc.

but;
no mortgage payments NOW, is really nice


current garage/shop
my 68 RR & 99 Dakota SLT 4x4 stays in there,
my other truck 02 F-350 Powerstroke 4x4
lives in 1 of my 2 carports 12' x 28'
the boat & RV lives in the other 42' x 28' carport out back
( I was gonna' turn the big carport into a shop, not sure now )

The 06 F250 ext has 4 doors and 8 ft bed with ladder rack. Was disappointed it would not fit through the 7 foot tall shop door untill I measured the length. I would have to close the overheads on the outside with no way to get around it on the inside. Next building needs to be more than 24 feet deep.
