Man this forum section is really slow, where is everyone ?????

Have been woking on the Avenger. What to do when leak down and compression test do not correspond. Then compression test on the same cylinder varies greatly. Like having compression readings on the same cylinder from 250 to 75 lbs. using the same gauge.
Anyway tired of testing and will be installing all new ignition and see if it runs.

Happy New Year everyone
I hope all had a good & safe celebration
(my fellow members too)

I hope 2019 will be less stressful than 2018 was
especially for my dad
whom is now home recovering nicely from after a
hospital stay for over a month, 1st a heart attack & then
quadruple bypass, valve repair & a hole in his heart,
for heart surgery & rehab stay since Nov. 13th to Dec. 28th 2018

all in all I can't complain too much other than my dads heath scare
2018 wasn't too bad

wassup fellas ?

been there done that. Wife was having some issues a few years back...not pain, just didn't feel right. Had all the tests done, nothing. showed up in the am for a heart cath, ended up going for a helicopter ride and a triple bypass. But all is well. We're dealing with her Mom...89, on her fourth pacemaker....heading into the final days we're afraid. Lost my job last month, but staying positive for 2019.

Lost jobs are a time for reflection and new opportunities. Many be something you had always wanted to do. Change is good.

Working, and working some more. Have my projects planned out for the warm weather, once it arrives. Get one car tuned and an electrical issue sorted out. Get the brakes fixed on another, and some tune up stuff, nothing major. Then it's time to put the Dart together, and get it moving on it's own. Just mechanicals and interior, no bodywork yet. And while all that's going on, I hope to do a complete brake job on the '72 W200 and get that beast on the road. I'd have all my cars but one, on the road, under their own power. No surprise car purchases, unplanned stupid expenses, gonna be paying down my debt so I can have money freed up for a loan for my shop, my parts hoarding will have paid off, as I don't need much for any vehicle. Overtime is still aplenty for the short term, so I'll keep hitting that for as long as I can. Gotta work my ass off now so I can sit back in a few years and just tinker with my fleet, vs thrash to get them all going. But having a deadline does make it fun, and a little challenging.

Stay healthy, jobs are out there, space is always a premium, and don't take any wooden nickels!

Here's to a productive New Year!

It never ends, but I'll get everything to a point where it just needs routine maintenance. Well, I keep telling myself I'll get there!

I told FABO that I came here also, with the truck project. I even changed my avator picture to the truck. LOL. Hopefully some will check it out. For Trucks Only could use some CPR... LOL

Oh, some of that, too, but even with a large heated shop I still don't get out to do much anyway. And nobody's interested in much of what I do.
