I don't think that will ever be, " just another truck" when you are done with it! If I get down to Chattanooga I'll make sure to drive as far as I need to to see that monster.

So to keep you abreast with my sitch. My kick down still sucks! my new calipers 'LOCKED' i
on to my "New" rotors right after they supposedly adjusted everything, brakes smoking et all! and my Worst cold start issues since they, (SCAAMCO) Told me a needed a new carb!.

I can relate to that one . Something tells me the brand X guy's around here are going to be bum'in next summer . :cool:

i just put rear on top of springs and used car u bolts with lake wood traction bars( also can use car shock plates) and cut a ring off the front coil and moved uca cams to set wheel straight....BAM!done.
never even took it to get lined up and no tire wear issues.

Hey brother Bear.
I'm back, bruised "Black and Blue".
It's silly but been so stressed over my truck since I made the unfortunate decision to take it to SCAAMCO.
Since my last note to you, nothing has been resolved, truck runs like shit still, brakes still sucks and trans still don't kick down properly.
Thinking about selling her in the new year and start with a fresher Dodge.
I'm over this truck. Sad.

Cannot brother! That's exactly how I envisioned my truck. Sick!!!
 
Sorry to hear they didn't do their job. I'd bring it back every day and HASSLE THE LIVING SHIT OUT OF THEM! Until they actually fix what you paid them to fix. Or, drove it into their building because the brakes they "fixed" didn't work properly.

Good to hear from you LocuMob! It is sooo fustrating. The Fucked up part is this, this is slow season for landscaping, even in sunny SoCal. So that means I'm going to have to reinvent my job for the winter. As to drive the truck into the wall, I'll have to wait untill I get another truck, saw one on CL in the high dessert area for $600. 65 Ford F series. Single cab, longbed, 390cid. It's a big maybe. Great patina no rust.
 
Looking forward to hearing those turbo's spool up next year ! :D

You betcha. The one in my avatar is my 80 with a 78 grill n hood, my build thread is an 83 that will have all 78 cosmetics and I have a 3rd one which is an 83 and will end up looking like a 93. They made them up to 85.
