It is starting

It was in the high 50's for a couple of days this week and right now Its 40 with a wind chill of around 30 . It's been up and down this year big time .
 
All flat land and maybe a tree to hide behind if lucky. If you are lucky and that wind is coming from the north at least it will not snow. Low was 38 here high is supposed to be 50.
Remember the winter in Grandforks like it was yesterday and that was 39 years ago.

A little USAF experience? Me, I was born/raised in this area, left for 20 years but came back for the quieter lifestyle.

Spent 1 winter there. Honestly enjoyed winter there better than here in central Missouri at least when it got cold it stayed cold. Here we can have 20° weather and a day or two later be in the 60's. Not that I am complaining about the warm days but one never gets use to the cold ones like when further north.
 
Sounds like your having the same weather we are Hops except the warmer days it's been wet . It's been up and down with the temps . I'm just waiting for the other shoe to drop and have it average below freezing like it normally does this time of year .
 
It rained most of the day here. I just got home from my friends shop across the street. Thank god for a friend with a lift. Took all day to get the tranny out of the cobalt to change the clutch and almost got lost on the 300 yard ride home because of the fog!
 
Warm today and tomorrow but next week reality sets in and it's supposed to get cold with rain and snow . Winter will be here for good then .
 
Mid 70's average and low's at night around 50's... Burrr it's cold! Lol. Unfortunately, we really only have one season (warm or hot), if we want to see snow, have to go to the mountains around February, if and when it rains.

My phone says it's 29℉ here and we just got a dusting, literally of snow. Not a real white Christmas but it tried. Maybe it will add up before midnight comes. All the people with snow plows hanging off their trucks must be hurting this year, 3 teaser snowfalls that have melted within 2-3 days. Wonder what March will bring.
