It is starting

Morning everyone, we have had more 90 degree days this year than ever before, no rain in 2 months, just trying to get Bob to dig out all the cars and take them for a drive, we have the 58 ready for the trip back east.
 
Taking the old 58 with the 283 motor, hopefully enough motor for the trip

thanks, Bob has so many point dist, chevy and mopars, he puts HEI dist in the chevys and still using a point dist in the 65 273, electronic in the other mopars, he needs to start clearing out motors, heads, intakes, rear ends, carbs
 
Nice I barley drove my dart this year, finally got the mechanical distributor I wanted was having hot start issues, now the dam inspection is expired!
 
I talked Bob into driving around in the 55 4X4 on this smokey and ash filled air here, there are fires all around us, woke up yesterday morning and it looked like Mt St Helens blew again!

Bob's just a big pushover, isn't he? "Do we have to take the 55 4x4? Oh, (sigh) I guess we can."

I heard people down in Portland were having to wipe off the ash from their windows before they could drive.
 
Got off work at 6:00 am and the temp.on he car said 48, not normal for this time of year, maybe in a few weeks. Holy schnitzel! It's down to 42! Goes back up next hour though.
