What the He*!? Started snowing Sunday, all day. We got 8-9 inches of the white stuff, nice and fluffy. So I shoveled the sidewalk and cleaned off my car to get a growler from the neighborhood micro brew, but they weren't open. BooHoo for me. Got up at 8 this morning and got the end of the driveway cleared and the space around Laura's car cleared out so she wouldn't get stuck. Went inside to warm up and watch some Top Gear (ain't the same without the old cast, but I'm addicted). Laura gets back and I go outside to finish. It's still below freezing but the wonders of science have melted the snow enough to make it nice and heavy. got the sidewalk and deck done, followed by the deck around the hot tub, (yes I'll rub it in but it is awesome after a hard day at work) and back to finish the driveway. Took way too long, but I'm not going to kill myself over snow. Just as I'm almost done, a guy comes over to the neighbors with a Bobcat and a blower attachment, and damn, I need one of those! Actually Laura's son usually cleans out our driveway but he was on the road, hauling for a new company, finally putting his truck to use. Best part about this? It's supposed to get warm enough to melt this crap in a week! Nothing like a job that leaves you feeling rewarded.
