It is starting

It is down for a while, got to call insurance today should be covered, I hope.
I have liability only so that does me no good, which leads me to say to you, fix the wires and drive it! In aall seriousness, I'm glad the Popmobile didn't have any further damage and that you'll have it up and running again soon. I always carry a fire extinguisher, never know what can happen.

Just got of the phone with Grundy insurance, love them I am covered and they are sending a adjuster over tomorrow! Love it all I pay is 136 a year for full coverage! Life is almost good.

Good deal then. I've had my 65 catch fire on me two different times, but thankfully both times were minimal damage. Once had my oil checking rag dislodge from it's stashing spot behind the battery and land on the exhaust manifold while cruising through Montana, got stopped and the rag out and the only real damage was to the rag and the clutch shaft boot through the firewall - back underway in about 10 minutes that time. The other was down in Chula Vista or National City, somewhere down there..... (San Diego area), was on my way to the Crane warehouse when it started spewing smoke again, this time the P/S hi pressure hose let go and sprayed on the manifold - ran into the Crane storefront asking for an extinguisher and the guy in there looked at me like I was crazy even though the car/fire/smoke was visible through the glass door I came in through, but he finally got me one and I got it out. Found a hose at a nearby parts house, added fluid and away I went, once again was just minor damage although there are still scars underhood from that one.

Bit more than that.

Just starting to source what I need to fix it. Better off getting a harness from a junk yard here and just re-use the connectors with new wire and terminals, easy for me I used to re wire aircraft.

Those eddy foam filters are trouble waiting to happen. I got 2 with an Indy Max Wedge Tunnel Ram, needless to say, those are in a separate box, never to be used.

Can you still find your year Dart at your local yard ? Slim pickins on the east coast for anything like that .

There is one up here that has to have 40 pre 75 dodges, mostly stripped but the darts are mostly /6 and have what I need. Lucky. Still waiting on the insurance to get up here. Going to call them this am. Look it up Klingers, in Pine Grove PA, He does not ship and will not use a computer but tell you what I have never been disappointed, Has a ton of Rams also.

Bob and I cruising the Jackson Hwy found this Body shop with these cool old rides, the owner talked and showed us around and told us he has 43 old classic cars, half of them being Mopars
