Yesterday was 70 and today was in the 70's. Nice weather for mid October
It does, but with the time I have before it goes into storage and little fixes, it may not see many miles. It will be an almost daily driver next year, while I work on the rest of my junk.It likely needs to be driven farther than to and from work.
No, I daily my old cars and I've only been stranded twice in the last 15 years. Once after swapping in an engine that had a bad oil pump, and after an alternator failed after testing good. Both times were shortly after getting the cars on the road. Considering how little I've done to improve what was already in those cars (fix things as they appear), and how reliable they've been, I'm fine with it. The car has already been gone through to make it reliable enough to drive, I just want to make some improvements in other areas, for my comfort. You do know if you call it that plan on being stranded somewhere. I keep looking at all the newer pretty stuff disabled along side the road and keep thinking how blessed am I to have something that's paid for.
Defrost helps when the temp drops and there's moisture. I usually drive until then first snow, then they are off the road until the salt is rinsed off in spring.Surely you don't need a working heater or defrosters in Minnesota? The dogs will want their heads out the window regardless the weather.
It was low 50's today, this swing shift has messed me up. Couldn't fall asleep last night, fell asleep in the afternoon and woke up to a dark room.Just as forecasted, it rained most of the day today
Hope you have a real good alarm clock. I have woken up on more than one occasion and looked at the clock. Oh crap, then realized it was Saturday and nothing to worry about. It was low 50's today, this swing shift has messed me up. Oh well. Forumlated a game plan for the garage this winter, mostly clean and organize, maybe throw some car work in there from time to time.
I set seven (7) alarms so I wake up in time. The screwy part is o get used to one schedule when it's over after four weeks. I'm sure I'll be used to mornings in two weeks when I need to be used to nights.Hope you have a real good alarm clock. I have woken up on more than one occasion and looked at the clock. Are you heading south again this winter?I am ready to go where it warmer. Sinuses don't like this weather. I suspect it's more harvest dust than anything. Propane tank only last two weeks if lucky. Soon it will be a few days.
Doctors have said no so far. I would like to tell them. See you in May. Don't think that would fly well. Are you heading south again this winter?
