It is starting

Menards stores log nothing in as it comes off the truck. Only after the truck manifest is processed and materials logged for pickup. That is what makes their system so strange. Worse yet I don't think they even have a way to track what doesn't show up on the manifest. It could be on the next truck, been left on the truck or delivered some where else. Yes I find it a strange way to do business. You would think if it did not get on the truck it would be pulled from the manifest and put on the one for the proper truck. I will have to call the store Thursday and see if it has arrived. If not it is lost and will have to be ordered again. Nothing has been marked picked up at the gate. So it is one they will have to bite.

Going in tomorrow to have the back worked on. Will likely be Friday before I will feel like driving anywhere anyway. Will be grounded till Thursday noon at least. All depends on doctors orders.
 
Morning. Been busy as usual. Look what followed me home Monday.

Beautiful yesterday, and beautiful again today. Temps in the mid 60's. I might get out of work with enough ambition to do something to the cars, or fix my leak in my power steering on the truck. Looks hooked up, but is leaking out one of the fittings on the pump. Maybe I didn't tighten that fitting enough, but I can't recall.

I did manage to get the dumpster full before they picked it up, no more junk from the previous owner! Still plenty of junk from the current owner. :bag:
 
Junk piles up fast. More so in the house without trash pickup. We always have nice weather when I can do nothing or busy with other peoples problems. Can not burn trash on windy days even in a barrel. Monday I am back to light duty for another 10 days.
So far the back procedure done yesterday has caused few problems. Walking to far today was not a good idea. So back to rest and relaxation.
 
I need to get tomatoes out if it gets dry enough. Rain all next week will delay planting anything. Middle of May and we are still getting frost warnings.
 
Beautiful day yesterday, sunny and 70's. Clouds came in late in the day and continued into the morning. Sun came out mid day and back in the 70's. I had the dog out around 7 and I could here turkey gobbling, I spotted one across the road about 300yrds away. I may get a license this fall.
 
It was in the upper 60's yesterday, with a strong wind from the south. With all the wind we've had lately, I keep wondering if I have a tire down, with the car pulling to one side all the time.

All that wind must be sucking the rain out off the gulf we are getting. All ready are having flooding in low areas and they are telling us 9 to 10 more days of rain. Anyone need some rain?
