Temp gauge pegged 101 in town on wednesday. Luckily it backed down the last couple days to low 80s

Going to help a friend put a vinyl top on his 72 Monte today, hell I helped build this car. Frame off new paint looks sweet. Glad a friend from FABO is coming over he used to own a upholstery shop so he actually knows what to do. I never did one before. He found the last factory green pebble top in existence for this car be a bitch to mess it up.

Had it for a year, and was doing other work on the truck before Carlisle and it was time to do it for sure. Now just waiting on a drivers side window motor and it is done for a while.

Good truck, got it from a friend, front off, engine just in it lots of stuff loose. Slapped it together in a week and last year painted it. Just use it as a beater truck as a truck.

Bob removed the bumpers and did some grinding today getting it ready for paint!

Ya for a guy who has no energy, he just keeps going, usually done by noon, then it's beer time and a nap on the yard swing, funny guy he is! I remember when he would go non stop on a rig till it's done, now he is in no rush to do any thing, today he is taking me to Redwind Casino
