It is starting

Thanks if it only worked that way. It will be cold here but not near what you will have. Bouncing drifts in the Charger. The front air dam still attached?

Yes it is, the drifts weren't very high, just hard. And we were only going 25-30mph. Car is very much intact. Sure felt funny, though.
 
-30° when I was sent out to start the Charger, remote start said "No!" The car didn't recognize the key sitting on the console, so she turned it off! She got it started again, thankfully. I don't know who taught her about winter driving, if anyone did, but she should have known better. I'll try to start my car tomorrow, I'm not going anywhere, and if I do, I'll take the Charger!
 
She does know how to plug it in in cold weathet and turn the battery warmer on. Or will it start with out all that good stuff?
The truck groaned this morning but decided to go. The transmition complained for a while. So it just sat and warmed up for a while. -7 with out wind chill.

It starts up without being plugged in. If there's a block heater, I don't know about it.
 
Small rant incoming:

When people sell their cars and trucks on craigslist, why do they list it for "$1" when we all know that's not their actual asking price? Do they think that somehow revealing the price after we read the description will change their feelings on the price? Seriously, you're asking for $18k, so they're either gonna pay that price or they aren't. Getting them to read about the "$$$$ of custom mods" you did to it isn't gonna somehow warm them up to the price. List the price upfront, don't waste everyone's time.

This concludes the end of the rant.
 
Looks like next week we could get a little cold weather!

It's been cold and blowing the last couple of days, Tuesday 5, Wednesday -1, today -1. Wind chill -20 to -30. Tomorrow in the teens, next week it's warming up 30's to 40's.

And off he drove! We turned around and went home. It sucks, now I have to figure out when the hell I get to go back, have to take Diamox pills again (lots of goofy side effects) and I wasted three days of vacation. I might go to work Tuesday and Wednesday, not sure yet, my back tweaked it with the first shovel load I pushed last night, and I'm not right, can't bend over for crap. Pray we have an atomic winter and all this white and cold go the hell away! Back to bed for a bit, stayed up for nothing.

Well that sucks, hope they get a time set up that will work for you and the weather will behave.
 
No snow here yet, 34 degrees dry outside, a little breezy, actually a very nice morning out, firing oing in both woodstoves, friends on my FB posted pics of snow at the coast
 
Us here in the mid west could become very envious of your north west weather cindybrat7. We are headed back into the freezer till I don't know when.
 
Iced in yesterday, rain, lightning and thunder storm last night. We now have a good solid 1/2" of ice. Temperature is in the teens. This will not melt till Saturday when we are supposed to get in the low 30's. Another day of going no where. Its going to be a short work week. Now its snowing.
 
We had a ice storm Tuesday night/ Wednesday morning, warmed up some today, 39 right now. Back in the freezer tomorrow, high in the teens with lots of wind
 
We have more cold and snow. It was in the teens yesterday, after having snow Tuesday. They closed my work today, they never do that, ever. Roads closed, businesses closed, no travel advised, schools closed. But we got our mail? My car has drifts around it. It's now -6° and windy.
