Yes and would be nice to get back to the spring weather thats not happening this year. We should be in the mid 70's not upper 80's.
Should be good for swimming pools and water parks.
Just maybe Bob's trying to motivate us.. When we get back to 40 hr weeks it might work.
Was going to stay home this week end and work on our stuf. Will it not happening. Got a job that needs to be done Friday thats gotten in the way.
92 real feal 99 with 62% humidity. Any ideas as to what August will be like with temps like this now.
I did get the lawn mowed after 2 weeks of growth and last weekends rain.
Bob is just wanting to get the 65 Suburban done so he can get rid of it, 2 different people are coming by today to drive the 65 Dart and Coronet, sad to see them gone but hard to keep batteries charged and Bob has so many things going on, he wants to spend more time on the 65 and 67 Barracudas
Mostly his age I think is why he wants to let some rigs go, and we hardly drive them, we are down to 9 rigs, 5 is his goal, Thank you Veterans and have a nice day!
I have a couple of HF solar panes and a buss bar just use them with extension cords with clips on either end to tend the batteries works well.
Thank you Cindy!
Sad to see the Coronet go . But I can't afford it and I'm sure it will go to a good home. It better or the buyer will be hearing from me!
I've reassessed my fleet dreams, I only want to add one or two more, with the gray car going to Jared, so only one more than I currently have. But I still have two that need to get on the road. I actually reached out to a FABO/FCBO member yesterday letting them know I would love to buy their '66 Polara 500 if they should ever sell. They have a four speed set up they would like to install. That would be cool. But it isn't on the road yet, and that will be the time to decide if they keep or sell. I figured I've missed some opportunities recently, so why not put the word out that I want it if you sell? Maybe the heat got to me!
Speaking of heat, it was tickling 100 yesterday, and will again today. I went to the Memorial Day service that Laura's duaghter is in, I felt bad for the Legion members out in the hot sun while we all his in the shade. They handed out water for everyone that needed it, and there were a lot of folks out to show their support of the men and women serving that live in the community. Jennifer was part of the he Honor Gaurd.
I came back home to mow the lawn, forget about that! When it's 90 out before 9am, I have other things to do than get heat stroke. Back to work on a black car!
