First Gen Dakota race truck

Why a 93? Or do you have to build from what was factory offered for that year?
The 93 extended cab is kind of heavy. How much weight is there between the hard to find regular and extended cab?
Sorry was you asking me that? My truck is a 91 frame with the cab etc from a 96. Mine is a short bed

88-93 have an advantage (if your not re-plumbing the fuel system) in that they have return style fuel lines from the factory. Fuel stays cooler and is easier to over psi without damage to the carb or fuel injectors. As far as reg cab vs extended cab I personally have seen hundreds of pounds and in the first gen Daks a substantial loss in frame rigidity with Xcabs. Daks have a closed box frame that transitions to a half closed C to an eventual (inherently weak) full open C. The transition starts too early under the cab in an X cab truck IMO. I had a 94 with decent power and I could tell it twisted a lot more than the regular cabs I built before it.

What do you do?
I.T., everything under the sun low volt such as structured cable, home theater, security electronics, access control, etc. Its my company so I have to chase the work, its like riding a roller coaster. But at least I have this to play with while its still warm outside..

I will have to look at the frame again. Was not planning on doing anything with it once I am done with it. But I have to get there first.

Damn I havent been on here in so long I forgot about this post. The 5.9 had Home ported EQ heads. Here is a video of the 94 extended cab making a pass.

Sorry I can't get the video to play picture of the KB107 pistions in the engine. Also pictures of my friends 94 dakota
