Finally purchased a truck today.

So a while back I joined and introduced myself but did not have a truck at the time. My son and me have been working on a 73 Satilight Sebring Plus and a member of FBBO. Well today I am very happy to announce I purchased a truck, 77 Chevy Silverado C10. I have a few pics from today and will be bringing it home tomorrow.

Multimopes did not even realize it was you, sorry. Very straight body, inside the bed is rust and dent free. I am surprised the paint is not even scratched up. Some rust under the driver and passenger doors but overall in great shap. Looking forward to getting it cleaned up. Got it home today but did not take many new picks. I told the wife I needed a truck and trailer so I can pull the Satilight around to get repaired. :happy: Keep warm up there. I hear there is another two snow storms on there way. I don't miss the snow shovelling but do miss the skiing in the Poconos.

I haven't seen one of those without significant rust in so long it's hard to believe I'm seeing one now.
 
According to the adds on TV them things last forever. But there must be a reason there are enough after market parts to build a cab if needed.
 
The truck looks great. Hard to believe it's 41 years old. Depending on how much snow we get, you could drive up for a visit and load the bed up with some snow to take back for a nostalgic farewell to the crap! If you get a couple gallons of fruit flavorings, you could sell enough snow cones to pay for the truck! LOL - Advertise as "Made with Jersey Fresh - Non Yellow Snow"! :yuck:
