This lowered truck thing drives me crazy.
Why . Just why?
It all depends on the use for the truck, if your using as a daily driver and “actually” as a truck for hauling and towing then you might as well leave it stock, BUT, IF it’s work days are over and its main purpose is a “ fun toy “ then in my opinion there is just nothing cooler than a lowered short bed Dodge truck, both my eldest son and I own late model Ram trucks, their both the “ limited” models with factory air bags to raise or lower the suspension as needed and VERY practical , we haul RV,S boats, lumber etc, AND they are are daily drivers so for FUN we each own “ classic “ Dodge trucks, he has a 1980 s/b Utiline which he owned since high school ( he is mid thirty’s now ) it used to be his daily driver, but that part of the trucks life is over, now it’s lowered, has a 340, a833 , nice oak bed, leather buckets, etc, my 56, used to be a farm truck and it’s useful work life is over, I built it to have fun and cruise, it to is lowered, nice paint, a oak bed floor box that will NEVER haul anything but a few swap meet parts maybe IF there on a padded blanket, it’s suspension and power train are also upgraded etc, etc, I take it out cruising on nice days only in the spring, summer, and early fall. The rest of these trucks days are spent in a warm garage. THIS is why people lower trucks, you don’t have to like them or agree with why people do it but it’s called “ hot rodding” not all trucks are work trucks.
