Just wondering if the big block trucks ran a different brake booster to small block trucks?
I've recently purchased a 76 D100 2wd stepside and when pulling it down to replace rusty floors and finding many more problems we found the finned mopar performance rocker covers have been ground down for clearance under the brake booster. (And the heater box is damaged too.)
The truck was originally a 318 but now sports a 440 tunnel ram and fitech fuel injection.
What else should have been changed for the conversion? It's blown the rear uninout twice and we found the trans rear mount flogged out and the rear of the trans is cracked all the way around... an expensive and painful thing to replace when your in Australia.
Any info will be very appreciated.
