Ask Questions & Make Comments about the new software

Ok ! Catch you later it's past my bed time . You know how us old people are without their sleep.
 
One issue I'm having is the page takes forever to fully load, I have to wait for 15-20 seconds sometimes more before I can scroll and read posts.

And before you tell me it's my PC, lol, it doesn't do it on FABO or the others.

It's kinda like when I go to a news site for instance, there is so much crap attached to the page it takes forever to load.

Is it the ads that's bogging it down, I am loaded up with those.
 
Different sites behave differently so just because fabo doesn't do it doesn't mean it's not your computer. I get the site very quickly

Make sure you java and flash are up to date

They are, I thought it had something to do with all of the ads maybe. It's not just FABO that loads quickly, I can go to many sites without issue as well, and a lot I can't.

I mean, this site works, it's just frustrating sitting here waiting for the page to load before I can do anything.
 
Ok.
Just posted an update to my welcome wagon post with my iphone 6.

Photo interface is much better than FABO and allowed me to post multiple photos. I either can not or have not figured out how to do it on FABO! It also allows for 1 click post all selected! :) we like.

I see you quoted my post, but when I search for this text string in the thread, I cannot find it on this page.

If you quoted the pic that I did not insert as full it was a graph of the photo details, but just a screenshot to test uploading. Strange that the quote doesn't match a post...
 
Hi Joey, today in my testing I posted a classified. These may be bugs, maybe system limitations, just reporting everything:

To create a classified you have to choose a category in a popup window/dialogue box, truck for sale, other for sale etc., after selection you are moved to the form, but the prefix( same options) has to be selected again - and is a required field.

I chose a picture for the icon, but to test edit classified, I went in to change the pic. When I hit save, I was given a hard error for missing prefix- apparently it reset to no prefix when i entered the edit screen.

Hi Joey,
Is there a way to view thread statistics other than the traditional forum browsing? For instance, when you search for a thread, the posts/views/dates are not visible, also when looking in My Content (looks like this is a search query also) you cannot see views etc.

feel free to let me know when this is no longer site testing and just annoying questions
 
Remind me in 2 weeks and I'll see if I can find something for that

Not annoying at all - I plan to convert all the sites and every comment, question and suggestion helps!

I like the little arrow that takes you to the quoted post! I was going to complain the post # isn't visible, but found the arrow

I mean visible in the quote- I click the arrow and it takes me to the post, but I do not know its post #73 that was quoted. There is a numeric value in the post html but that seems to be a different number BTW just went to fabo, had no idea a similar arrow was there for quoted posts!SNAG_Program-0036.png
 
I just loaded some links to YouTube clips tonight, and WOW!!! I get the preview shot with no fuss and really fast.
I am impressed with this feature. Takes the guess work out of loading a clip. :)

this site sucks tried to post a classified and the stupid thing keeps saying put proper mileage format well if you do not list a format how can you put correct i tried 3 different ways after 3 tries got pics to download but would not put on post I have used A bodies and B bodies for years no problems but will not use this piece of junk again

Well, that's kinda the point is to shake out problems. I don't know why your so hostile.

the mileage format is simple --- just numbers. But I'm guessing you used a comma or something ---- so I fixed that now.
