Went and looked at the below vehicle after seeing it on FB Marketplace. NOT MINE
Had a very good conversation with the seller. Test drove the truck. I personally think it's very cool, but it needs more love than I can give right now as I finish up my 64 Valiant.
I told the seller I'd spread the word. We have no financial or personal relationship. I would just love to see the truck saved and restored by someone.
Originally a 400 W100, it now has a 440 in it with an electric fuel pump. Headers and full, dual exhaust. 4 speed, granny low, stated 4.10 rear.
Ranch hand front bumper with winch. Rear bumper has winch. Set up for bumper pull or gooseneck trailer. Custom rear rack, storage and spare tire mount. Club cab still has the rear jump seats. It's been repainted a similar yellow to the original.
Thing that made it more than I wanted wss some issues with the transfer case. Engine needed tune and timing. Body was in pretty good state. The tail edges of the front fenders were rusted through. Rockers and cab mounts were solid. Rear fuel cell is not being used currently although the tank selection switch works.
Located outside of Riner, VA. I think it's a great truck for the right person. Worth the drive out
