Transmission was left untouched....except for a new front end seal, and a change of fluid once re-installed. No leaks and it shifted well, so no need to mess around with it...

Well, after only 90 days from the truck landing in New Zealand, till the time the Beach Hop cruise weekend started....thousands of man and woman hours went into to a total and pretty thorough rebuild. I still find it hard to believe we did make the deadline....and cannot get over how much a small and dedicated team can do....and how little sleep we could do it on...

A year or so later I added a SunPro tach to the dash - fitted nicely where the ash tray would normally be - I kept all the original fixings. :)

Good to see the back flange on the engine block was cleaned of paint. The starter will like that.
90 days. Its hard to imagine just hours of assembly line time did it the first time.

Thanks guys...stay tuned for the next installment - rebuild 2018. :D

Just beautiful Roger, and what teamwork! I wish I still had my old A-100! I will be anxiously watching!
Thank You!

Great build Kiwi, lots of work but it's looking awesome!!! I love the A100's and have been eyeballing a van just minutes from me, the wife unfortunately says ABSOLUTELY NOT LOL. Keep up the good work.
