Hello picked up a 67 d100 383/727
Trying to find a replacement radiator Only seem to find are small block radiators can’t find a big block radiator which I assume is a 26”ish core all the others I see are 22”ish
The 22”ish won’t work as the bottom port lines up directly with oil filter so needs a wider core I’m thinking
Does anyone know what these trucks came with originally for the big block

Depends on the, trailer tow, AC (or not,)
it does have what looks like a original brake controller on the steering column
Has leafs and coil springs on the rear had 3 gas tanks 1 in back of bed and other under bed behind rear axle looked all from that era
Heavy duty rear bumper diamond plate with heavy duty hitch no A/C does have defrost.
Looks like has to be wider because the oil filter 0n the 383 gets in the way of the smaller radiator bottom port

You can see where that bottom hose rests
The port on this small block radiator the port is direct in front of the oil filter

What's wrong with the old radiator that it can't be fixed?
Any quality radiator shop can recore the original.
Your only other choice maybe going to aluminum.

It seems to be the wrong radiator a small block radiator the bottom port lines up with the oil filter
When I got the vehicle it had the radiator no hoses connected
Seems to need a wider core to clear the oil filter

Yep! Thought something looked off. Not even the correct water pump.
Here is what it should look like.

Oh ok so bottom port should be passengers side so water pump is wrong
I did see they had passenger or drivers side ports had to choose online for a radiator
That’s why I was wanting to know how it should be originally
It looks like a 69 big block radiator would fit this arrangement

FWIW, a '74 BB Trail Duster 26" radiator I have in storage has both inlet and outlet on the passenger side.......

For reference, a '68 BB 26" radiator which has the outlet on driver side, inlet passenger in my Barracuda might be more accommodating to your water pump but surely the mounting flanges are a lot different..............
