How does one cut loose the cable/tubes that are used for headlight adjusting? Look to be plastic and if I tug on 'em I'm afraid I will bust something. Thank you.
I paid good money for a new set of wheel centers. Now I find the insert is plastic and one has completely come off/separated from the "metal" ring, rendering it useless. Why plastic on a center cap? Dumb if you ask me.
Right, first grandson born a couple of months ago, had to go up north meet him (Diego) for the first time, along with the common bald eagles and black bears.
The owner of the Toyota Dealership also is owner/part-owner in the Chrysler dealership across the street.
The Toyota showroom in Juneau has a small Mopar classic car display located in the far corner. I was surprised when the owner of the agency (and vehicle owner) popped the hood of a '79 Lil Red Express. There sat a big, old elephant motor, a crate 426 HEMI. It sported the valve covers shown in...
Today I found a similar piece at a local wrecking yard from a '95 Dakota Club Cab two-wheel drive (mine is standard cab four-wheel drive). The piece I picked up is too long, but at least I can see now how the hooks on my old piece have been pulled out straight and that's why it falls out (not...
RE: 1996 Dodge Dakota 4x4 3.9 Liter 5 speed. After changing out the parking brake pedal (which was releasing all by itself at times!) with a not quite so worn out wrecking yard piece, the primary cable snapped. Installed an NOS cable which did fine until today when everything went slack again...
Thanks for the part numbers, I could not come up with anything on my own.
Now with those numbers I was able to cross reference a Mopar #4383915 which would be a Dorman C95074 or Napa UP95074. I believe the C94574 (41.77") is for two-wheel drive and the C95074 (55.62") is for four-wheel drive...
My parking brake cable snapped, the cable that connects to the pedal inside the cab and then goes outside underneath the chassis. I was searching for the replacement, but no luck so far. Thank you.
I want to compare 2018-2019 Ford Rangers with the Dodge Dakota. I can find fotos and specs of the a 2018 Dodge Dakota on-line, but none for sale. Twilight Zone Episode going on here?
The wet stuff is not coolant for sure. I found the trick to removing the plastic piece surrounding the gear shift, there are four small bolts under the rubber shift boot. The shift boot has a solid plastic tab built in to the forward portion and two spring loaded metal tabs built into the rear...
Hi, I need to remove the rectangular plastic piece that goes around the 5-speed shifter and shifter boot and the four-wheel drive shift lever. Mine is rectangular and gray in color and I don't see any screws anywhere. Does it just pry off by releasing some hidden tabs or are there some hidden...
Bought as a ranch vehicle a 1996 3.9L 4x4 standard 5 speed new from dealer back then, as of May 2014 it has logged 266,000 miles. Don't remember any major engine work yet. Rebuilt engine control and fixed the driver's door hinge twice.
My 1996 driver's door lower hinge completely broke off now, was welded once already. Wondering if someone can tell me more specifically which fasteners for the fender need to be loosened or removed and where they are located so that I can access the hinge bolts? Is it possible to just knock out...
