Hello Friends,
My first post
I have two 1970 dodge trucks , one a w300 the other a d300
On the back of the d300 there was an automatic transmission, attached to a NP 203 date code 1976
The P/o had a 440 and another auto transmission sitting between the frame rails with the intent to convert the truck to 4 x 4
My question is this... can anyone identify the automatic transmission attached to the 203 ?.. I am wondering if it is a big block pattern Mopar... or what? The person I got the truck from knew none of the history of the parts amassed on the flatbed. ( I intend to return the truck to its original engine , an LA 318 with a NP435, potentially a D60 front conversion with disc brakes from an 80's vintage W300) The D300 body is rust free. The flatbed will go away for a service body
Thank you to anyone knowledgeable who can help
