So my 98 2500 that's in my avatar pic is going to be retired from plowing. I picked up this 02 2500HD from a friend of mine. I had to replace the alternator. I still need to replace the radiator, check the brakes (leaking somewhere), replace a tie rod, and modify my plow frame to fit this truck. It had a flat bed on it, but my friends brother wanted it, so they took it off and put the bed from his GMC on it. Besides a plow truck it will be quite the tow rig, 6.0 liter gas, 4:10 with a posi, it will tow, but it will like gas.
In the future if I feel the need, I may replace the cab corners and rockers, then the front fenders.

The frame is in good shape, floors are solid, just the rockers, cab corners and fenders

Saturday I took it into the shop. I planned on just replacing the radiator, after I got the fan shroud off I found the water pump was leaking. I replaced the water pump, the radiator and refilled the coolant after testing what was left in the system. The alternator I just put on failed, so I got another one and swapped it out. I checked for a brake fluid leak because the reservoir was empty, turns out the brake hose for the RF caliper was so rusted at the caliper, it was leaking fluid. I replaced both front brake hoses and bled the brakes. I am trying to get some pic's from my phone right now to download

Look at these brake hoses, no wonder why it started leaking
