I've got a good, old school radiator shop about an hour away, out in the sticks, that should be able to make me one. If the Dakota was as simple to get the heater box out of as our old Mopars are, I wouldn't worry about it too much. I'm 67 and the bones don't bend as far as they used to....lol...

If the connectors at the amp meter are good, clean them, add dielectric grease and put them both under one of the nuts to bypass the amp meter. An amp meter is a dash fire waiting to happen.

Wife has an 04 Dakota quad cab, and I suspect the windshield is leaking on the passenger side. Passenger front floor gets wet every time it rains. It must be running down behind the heater box, because it's not dripping onto the floor mat. Just the carpet is wet. Definitely not the heater core...
