Have you checked the intake for a vacuum leak, it will suck the gasket out of the cover that seals the bottom of the intake. Usually they will suck oil also. This could cause your start and stall

Replace it. I don't know it anything would seal it

Fall is back, temps only in the 40's to 50's, 30's at night. My lawn mowing is finished for the season. Now I need to get the oil changed and them ready for spring, it seems like I always forget and have to do it right before I need to use them.

You may be able to use a factory cable and brackets from a 93 to 97 truck.

Start by checking for power at the coil and using a test light, check for a flashing light on the negative side while cranking

Another beautiful day in the 70's. Started with a slight breeze, but they predicted strong winds with a small craft advisory for the lake. Winds were gusting pretty hard late this afternoon, down to about 15-20 mph now
