I have used the Dorman replacements for years without issue. There is a universal kit that has the small bushings and then a specific kit that only has 2 for the big one. I have them in my parts bin but no part numbers, sorry. Yes, you want to use a heavy lithium or moly grease, not petroleum...

Sorry for the late reply, did you land anything? I have seen 87-90 Dak rears on car-part.com for a few hundred bucks. Look for the 90 Sport, a lot of them came with 3.90 sure grip stock. I have a complete truck with one. Another alternative is a E body 8 3/4. Within 1/4 width of a gen 1 Dakota...

Thanks for trying and reporting. Only seats Ive ever used in a Dak was a B2200 bucket. Needed a small extension on the outer front mount. Liked it though as the seat sat a lil higher than a stock seat. Those are long gone and so are any pics I had as I had a laptop die back in the day, never...

Ball joint. Major recall on em, would fail and come apart. Intake manifold belly pan gasket. Always leaks on Magnums. Some no real issue others, fouled plugs, poor vacuum make it run poorly and have really bad gas mileage. Nice find, good luck with it. Btw, there is a Dakota section here should...

Running driving 90 Dak with very straight body and almost no rust. This is not a "drive home" truck but is drive-able. This is a very "good bones" project Dak. It has a running 3.9, great shifting A500 with 3.9 limited slip. I was going to make a drag truck but life plans have changed. $800. OBO...

I believe that, probably why they made a whole new casting late 71. I had a no date code 360 sitting around for years, got tired of moving it so it went to scrap. :-(

My ole Direct Connection bible says a "no date code" 360 is the very first casting in 71 based off the 340 so the water jackets are even farther from the cylinders than a post 71 block. They show taking a first run block past .100 boring.
