    34 dodge truck upgrade.

In all fairness from the side without seeing the grill or tail panel they are VERY similar although the “ glaring “ Cuda call out on the side should have been enough but looking at the photo on my phone as opposed to a larger screen didn’t help, I’ll own it, my bad!!

    34 dodge truck upgrade.

lol, next time I’ll put my glasses on, it’s ok Cudas and Challengers are both equally as nice to me, love the “E” bodies!

    34 dodge truck upgrade.

Wow! I can’t blame ya for taking some time to enjoy that! Is it a reall AAR? Gorgeous car, next to Dodge trucks ( any year ) “E” bodies have always been my favourite, so many deals I let slip through my hands when they were affordable, including a AAR but now their so outrageously priced for...

New to me my dads truck value

First, sorry to hear about your dad, I’ve been through that too. As far as the truck goes a diesel 2wd up here , even a rusty one commands a high dollar, a clean low mile one would be at least 12k in my town, I realize values are for some reason a little less down south, however I would...

You asked “why” I tried to explain….to each his own

    D100 lowering the rear

It all depends on the use for the truck, if your using as a daily driver and “actually” as a truck for hauling and towing then you might as well leave it stock, BUT, IF it’s work days are over and its main purpose is a “ fun toy “ then in my opinion there is just nothing cooler than a lowered...

Sorry about the double post, can’t figure out why?

    D100 lowering the rear

I think 4 inch is the max, that’s what I used, my son has a 80 and he flipped his axle, it goes WAY down that way, he likes it but it is too low for my liking, I actually had mine flipped to but I put it back and used the drop shackles. Personal taste I guess, BTW, I lot of work to switch from a...

    D100 lowering the rear

There are different rear shackle drop brackets I think it was two inch and four inch? you mentioned that’s what you used, maybe you could get a lower drop, that’s what I used on my 81 S/b frame sitting under my 56.

    Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas, that truck on the card looks like the one on the cover of the 1982 Dodge truck sales brochure, I still have one from when I bought my first new truck, I factory ordered the truck and thumbed through that brochure every day for months until the truck finally arrived lol, I...

    Newbie

Welcome to the site, great looking Utiline, my favorite body style! Looks like Ramcharger seats in it. Hopefully you have the tailgate there getting hard to find.

    New member with Dodge trucks

Welcome to the site, nice trucks I used to have a Ramcharger 2wd just like yours, pretty much the same colour, club cabs are great but behind the seats is better for storage than sitting with those little jump seats.

    New from arkansas my 80

I think if you put the 572 in it won't be as streetable and you won't drive it as much? As far as wheels, both my 56 and my sons trucks have the old police wheels with bottle caps, they look great and can be painted to match for the sleeper look, I believe their 8 inch. I used to run them on my...

    New from arkansas my 80

Welcome, nice truck! Your correct it certainly is a sleeper, my son has a 80 S/B Utiline, dropped 3 inches with a 340 and a A833, not really a sleeper but a fun truck I bought a brand new 82 S/B Swept same colour as yours, I liked it but my wife ( G/F at the time ) hated the colour but loved...

When was the first year for volt/vacuum gauges in Adventurers?

I don't know if they were factory but the dash cluster style and size is the same, they do make the burl side pieces with cut outs for the gauges, my son has them in his 80, it didn't come that way, it had the ugly silver one from factory but as he went through modifications to the truck he put...

79 Macho - gotta brag on this a little bit

Ok, good description, I'll look at my son's the next time at at his house, I do think his is a bit smaller and I don't think it's curved. Now are you sure the roofs are different on the 80? As far as I knew the only difference was the hood and cowl when they went from bird bath to the flat hood...
