    46 RH/NP203

Yeah, I've been searching all over the net for about 6 months now. Found a lot of info on the 4500/203 combo. Even a couple of people that listed detailed descriptions of how they got around all the obstacles. Nothing yet on the 518/203 combo. I think most people that do this swap want the 4500...

    46 RH/NP203

Thanks for getting back to me. Sorry it took me so long to respond. Ah, you know, crap going on, blah, blah, blah… Well, you don't need to be bored. Anyway… I know about the drilling and tapping on the 4500's and, that's also being considered for my build. But, the 4500's are approaching the...

    46 RH/NP203

Hey everyone, I got a couple questions for the forum. Has anyone tried to mate an A518 to an NP203? If so, what were the obstacles, and how did you get around them? Also, do the input and output shafts both have the same 23 spline count? Tia. Charlie

    Trans/T-case mating

Thanks for getting back to me. Yes I have. In fact, I've been scouring the net on this subject for about 3 months now. The only thing I can find is old threads in various different forums of things people have tried. None of them offer pics or give an update on their degree of success. But...

    Trans/T-case mating

Hi, guys. I have a '79 W200 with the 203 T-case. I like the full time case and I want to keep it. However, I would love to put an overdrive trans in front of it. I know that the overdrive units are housed in the rear section that would otherwise be the adapter between the trans and case, so I...

    T-cases

Thanks for getting back to me. I thought that's how I remembered it, but it's been a while since I've had a reason to remember.

    T-cases

Can anyone tell me if the 203 t-case is the only full time case, or is there another? Is the 205 full time or part-time? Thanks.

    Wheel size

To everyone that replied, thanks. I'm leaning towards 16's just so I won’t have to worry about finding tires in the future.

    ATF confusion

That's a good suggestion. Thanks, it's the next place I'll try.

    Wheel size

I'm trying to get tires for my '79 w200 with 16.5 rims and stock ride height. I can't find any outlets that even list 16.5's as available for order. I'm thinking of going to 16's, but I don't know if dodge used 16's or if so, on what years. I'm not looking for anything aftermarket. Just plain...

    ATF confusion

captainchrysler, thanks for getting back to me. I didn't know that about the ATF+4. That's probably why all the LBS's in my area keep directing me to ATF+4 when I try to find listings for it online. As for the "lick & stick" extra horsepower, we are a pitifully deprived bunch!

    ATF confusion

65 sporty, my5thmopar- Thanks for getting back to me. My problem is that in my area there are no O'Reillys and no other lps seems to carry dexronIII. I guess I'll have to find an online source.

    ATF confusion

Thank you for your reply. I do appreciate the response. But, it doesn't answer my original question. My question is : What ATF are people using in the OLDER 727's from the 70's and early 80's in place of the Dexron/Mercon since that fluid is now so hard to find? Since this forum is supposed to...

    ATF confusion

Hi, I'm new to the group. I have a 1979 w200 with a 727 Trans. My owner's manual calls for "Dexron with Mercon" ATF. I'm having a lot of trouble finding that fluid. Is there an alternative that you guys are using? Thanks in advance for any help or info.
