Johnno
I'm a geological exploration field assistant. I read a lot of P.J.O'Rourke, and I think we should be building vehicles the way we were in America in the 1960s. More torque and lower ratio diffs. I think leaf springs, drum brakes, large low stress steel engines make sense. Maybe underdash aircon, it's a bit warm in central Queensland .
Bring back high profile tyres. Build full size Plymouths again. Make hoods or bonnets longer. Consider straight eights. Let Labradors ride on the back. I think everyone should try wilderness geological exploration at least once in their life. Who knows, we may even decide we would like to resurrect the Space Shuttle program again.
